Magnetic Bookmark Valentines (Free Printable!)

Can you believe it's already February?  It feels like January just flew by.  My major January highlight was when we went to the mountains and played in the snow.  It was fabulous! We went to the same place that I used to go to as a kid, and it was so much fun to be able to be able to share those memories with my kids...while creating new memories!

But now it's February, and my kids are super excited for Valentine's day! Perhaps my favorite thing about Valentine's day is that it comes at a time that isn't near either of my kids birthdays...so it just seems a lot less overwhelming!  

I actually whipped this project up for my kids to suprise them on Valentine's day.  I didn't have a lot of time to shoot the pictures--and the weather wasn't exactly cooperating, so I apologize that the pictures aren't the best! But with Valentine's day around the corner, I figured I'd better get this post posted sooner rather than later!

Let's talk about the bookmarks!  When I was a kid I had this little magnetic bookmark that I thought was the neatest thing!  I thought they'd be super fun to make into a printable valentine.  So I did!

 

This is a super simple project guys.  I've included a printable, so you can have these little guys done in less than a half hour!  Let's get started.

All you'll need is:

• cardstock
• a printer
• and a magnet (I used a thin refrigerator magnet)
• a glue gun
• template

Print out the template and cut out the pieces.

Cut a little slit on the valentine's background (so you can fit the bookmark in).

Glue two pieces of magnets to each side of the bookmark using a glue gun.  Remember to make sure that you have the right sides facing each other.

And that's it!  It's really that simple.  Super fun, right?  And easy!
