I'm excited to share Ellie's party with you this week! It was a fun party! She didn't have a lot of requests for her party...just a few. She wanted an Elena of Avalor party with a stage and photobooth. Other than that, she said she just wanted to be able to play with her friends.
Got it little one! Although I guess I shouldn't call you little anymore...you are getting so big! We put together a makeshift photo booth and stage using some plastic tablecloths.
We used the fort magic to make the microphones for the stage. Can I tell you how much I LOVE fort magic? My kids will play with it for hours. Seriously one of the best toys ever.
We didn't have a lot of decorations. I ordered the tablecloth, plates, and pennant banner from party city. We picked up a few balloons from the dollar store.
Even though Ellie didn't really request any crafts for her party, I did have a few. For one, we made some bell shakers. I drilled some holes in some dowels, and the kids used pipe cleaners to attach bells. I got the idea for the shakers from this party.
I also had some little lanterns from the kids to decorate. I downloaded the cut file from the silhouette design store. I bought some little LED lights from amazon for the kids to put inside them. Mostly though the kids just ran all around and played.Ellie did have one other request, and that was individual pinatas. We made these so that each kid had their own to open. My kids LOVED decorating these!
I made Ellie's Princess Elena Dress (You can read all about that here if you missed it). We made hair combs for all of the girls, and I found fake stick on mustaches for the boys. So fun!
Happy birthday dear Ellie. We love you so much!
I hope you all enjoyed a peak into Ellie's special day! Have a great week everyone!
