This past weekend we had Ellie's Elena of Avalor Party, and I'm still in the process of going through and editing the pictures. I have so much to say about it too! But I just not ready to share all the details yet! Hopefully next week. Until then though I wanted to quickly log on here to show you one of the crafts that we did for the party...mini guitar pinatas!
My kids really loved to help make these. I made cardboard guitars and they loved to decorate them!
The actual pinata part is super easy to make, too. You just need some cardboard, and a toilet paper roll. Let me show you all the steps!
I punched holes in the top of the tube, and then punched a hole in the ring pop wrapper. I stuffed it in the bottom of the tube, added a few more pieces of candy, and then covered the top and bottom with a circle piece of paper.
I used a hot glue gun to seal up the bottom.
I covered some with a little bit of paper.
I used a hot glue gun to attach the rest of the guitar.
The kids had so much fun decorating these! And Ellie really loved it that each kid got their very own pinata. So fun!!
I hope everyone has a great week! Be back here soon!
XOXO,
Jill
