The 'Just Like Daddy' Dress

Does your husband have pointy elbow syndrome?  Mine does.  For some strange reason my husband puts holes in all of this dress shirts right on the elbows.  They are perfectly good shirts otherwise.

I've been gradually collecting all of these pointy elbow shirts and keeping them for a good project of some sort or another.  A shirt dress had been on my 'to do' list for a while.

There are lots of great shirt dress tutorials on the web.  I was inspired by this one, although I didn't add the waist band.

I love the elastic neckline.  This type of neckline is Lu's favorite.

And I love how breezy and comfortable it looks.  And I think Lu likes it that she's wearing one of Daddy's old shirts.
