Easter Roundup

Hi Friends,

I hope you all are having a great spring break.  I just thought I'd stop by with a quick post with some pictures from our Easter, along with a great post-Easter craft.

First, the craft.  We've been busy making eggshell mosaics with the remnants of our dyed Easter eggs.  Even my youngest thinks this is fun.  She loves pushing the pieces down in the glue, causing them to crack and lay down flat.  Did you make these as a kid?  I remember loving making mosaics like these.

Here are a few pictures from our Easter celebrations:

The Easter bunny brought us this cute book.  It's charming and sweet, and my snugglebug seems quite mesmerized by all those baby bunnies!

We made these yummy sugar cookies.  (Wondering how we made them--check out this post on my new favorite way to decorate cookies.)
and we made these little dudes.  I bought the kit at target last year on clearance and actually remembered to bring it out for the kids to decorate.  It was a hit!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and is enjoying a spring break (if you have one this week!)  I'll be back with my regular posts next week....Do you want a sneak peak?  My post next week will involve this little guy.  I can't wait to tell you his story!

Take care and see you all next week!
