Until Next Week...

Have you seen a little kid like this while out shopping?  I love this.  I'm going to be so sad when my little ones don't want to wear some ridiculous getup to the store.  For now though my girls seem to have no regard for the fact that the rest of the shoppers aren't decked out in dress up clothes.

Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?

We're battling colds here, yet again.  I hope to be able to make some progress though on refinishing my old dollhouse for the girls. Lu can't wait to help me pick out the wallpapers and colors for the walls.  She's already planning a purple room for the house--just like her own.

As I searched pintrest for dollhouse design inspiration I came across this house.  Forget the dolls, I'd love to live there!  I'd love making something like this for the girls, but I think I want my house to be more of a craft project for them.  *Sigh,* It is so cute though.

Remember these caramels that I tried at Christmas time?  I made them with lemon extract this week.  They were heavenly.

I saw these science embroidery patterns the other day.  I LOVE them.  Such a fun way to incorporate science into the house.  It makes me want to embroider some diagram from my thesis.  Or maybe just embroider something :-)

I'll be back next week with some more quiet book pages and hopefully some printable valentines.  I'm especially excited about how my latest quiet book page turned out and I can't wait to share it with you.
