Happy Monday everyone! I hope that you all had a great weekend.
I'm so excited to show you what I made my girls for Christmas. It's a fun printable for creating a flower shop.
I put it together while the kids were napping this past weekend so you could see what the shop will look like.
It contains a
"Welcome to the Flower Shop" sign, two wrist bands for making corsages,
a "Have you smelled a rose today?" sign, pretend money, 2 greeting
cards, 4 thank you for shopping cards, a "Will return at ___" clock, 4
sale signs, 20 flowers and 8 leaves.
But here's the really cool part. I laminated most of the pieces and attached Velcro to the back of the flowers. Then I put the opposite side of the Velcro on Popsicle sticks. See?
But I didn't just do Popsicle sticks. I added Velcro onto hair clips, a wrist band, and a pin so that the kids could make their own boutonniere, corsage, and flower hair clips. See?
I know Lu is going to love the fact that customers can come up and order specific bouquets and accessories with flowers of their choice. Now that's a custom flower shop!
I also love this little sign that I made about taking time to smell the roses.
Because really, isn't that what childhood's all about? Stopping and smelling the roses? At least my little ones are always reminding me to take a step back and appreciate the small things.
Would you like to make your own flower shop with your kids? I've put this printable in my store. You can find it here.
Also, make sure you like Snugglebug University on Facebook. I'll be giving away a free flower shop printable soon!
Did you create all the flower graphics yourself? What program do you use? They are great!
